It will be interesting to see on which platform it performs better. IIRC the original did better on the PS3 than it did on the Xbox.

actualy install aperntly not allowed on the xbox, until you update the game then only is the install allowed, as for why its mandatory, the game requires you to swap disc during levels and not halfway through the game so the install will assit with aleviating load times, correcgt me if i am wrong?

Same applies to the PS3 to a lesser degree. A few rand (2*) more for a 2.5" or just place/mount external. A small conversion and you have a eSATA PS3.
As for the 5GB install, So what it takes a few minutes and then its done then there are still a HUGE database of info for the PS3 on the BluRay disk. No disk swapping Shcitt required!
nope, it came out a year later and the 360 version was still superior

... the true fps experience can only be had with a mouse and keyboard and 60 fpsIt's actually fine at 30+ on console and 32"+ screen, you rather not care about it.
And most console gamers or mutliplatform gamers (true gamers) have mastered the gamepads by now, it's not really a problem for us anymore.

Still takes too long to turn around to look behind you. In my opinion, PC = FPS, 3rd PS, RTS. Console = RPG, Simulation, 3rd PS + other.
Nothing beats lying in bed during winter with a new PS3 (or Xbox) and jamming a new game all weekend lol.

These game installs is getting me down a bit. Anybody knows of a good place to buy a cheap HDD upgrade for the PS3?

Esquire will have. Try them.
Be careful though, I tried to be clever in december and order a 750GB western digital 2.5" drive thinking that would be getting a nice big drive but some of the newer 2.5" drives are 12mm thick and do not fit into the PS3.Make sure the 2.5" drive is 9mm thick.

Why does anyone complain about the install? It's once off and alleviates the read access on the optical drive.
I dont mind it, but if you were strapped for cash at the time and got the 40gb ps3 like I did, playing my games sometimes is a hassle, cos i have quite a few games and have to uninstall some games to play others......kinda sux at times, especially if u find a gap to have a quick jam session but have to wait for an install.
