Discussion boards have long been threatened by social media and now with 'digital' boards like Discord. Twitter has started to sell their wall with success, but now with esports becoming more mainstream, I do believe that discussion boards could possibly return, but people want live interaction. I don't know, some traditional orientated products can still succeed.
