Am on 150 for R350 and no one at MTN knows so I never bother to look.

According to their social media team: "yes on a contract it does carry over for one month."

If it's normal LTE data (not fixed) it should carry over for one month. My small data bundle on my MTN contract which is now month-to-month (I haven't bothered to upgrade) carries over for one month. So I'd guess this would be the same.
