No.......as long as you have a router that can support the network, typically a Cat 6 router.

I don't see a point of buying a 5G device and receive a <10Mb/s download speed. That's s#!t since you can get faster 4G than that.
When will we get >1Gb/s 5G? Ohhhh, the usual excuse lack of spectrum.

Exactly my thoughts when I saw that router and the speedtest. Can’t be signing up to a 24 month 10Mb/s contract with all kinds of FUP in 2021.

"We tried downloading an Ubuntu Linux install image.." sure, sure you did.

You do know this is a specific product, and has different tiers and pricing with soft caps. It is more then likely that is you were to buy a new cat 6 modem now it is likely going to be a 5G modem, whether you have 5G coverage or not.The fact that the service did work on 5G is actually great as you have the benefit of reduced ping as well, regardless of it being limited to 10mbs.

Secondly this is mybb, so they are going to need a 5G modem, when they do tests reviews among other things. It has absolutely nothing to do with spectrum.

Additionally have a look at a country like South Korea with a population density of 527 people per square km2, with a surface area of 100 000km2 versus, South Africa with a population density of 49 people per square km2 and surface area of 1.22 million km2. It is literally 100 times cheaper to setup infrastructure in South Korea. But of course we are talking the mybb karen get on the bandwagon complain club, because I don't understand it.

My neighbourhood is 2000 people per km² and we don't have fibre nor 5G
