N73 or N80

Such harsh words? lol I didnt say anything about the camera.
ANyway all Nokias suck, lets leave it that way...

No but if you didn't then I'd be interested to know what you meant by "In terms of the better mobile, N73 is better". You don't have wi-fi, you can't force 3G and the keys aren't protected from accidental dialing so if you forget to put on the keylock then you're screwed.

PS: no point being a SE fanboi, the only decent thing about your K800 is the camera. If you're so hung up on camera's, why not buy a proper digital camera for R2000 with optical zoom and proper flash et al. You remind me of a those types of people a few years back who constantly played around with their ringtones, and bought phones because they could store more ringtones ;)

Meant the N73 is more refined and more stable for Nokio, it has a much better screen than the N80, it looks better, it uses Nokios newer UI, not much of an improvement but its newer, wifi doesnt mean anything to lots of people, and accidental dialling?

The K800 is a good phone, its not just the camera. But I wont start that debate again, it has a higher res screen, the menus are lightning quick, thats all I need.

Ahhh the ringtone days... my fav I think was called "Persuasion" it went
Beep.................. beep beep........................ beep beep beep!

Looks are an objective thing so one can only speak for themselves. New UI? Do you even know what you're talking about? They both use Symbian 60 v3. Maybe you mean newer firmware, in which case newer firmware is available constantly for all phones. Refined and stable? LOL.

And accidental dialing - yeah with the N80 you slide it closed and the keypad is locked and the numbers are protected. Phones without a slider always run the risk of numbers being accidentally dialed in you pocket if you forget to put on the keylock.

PS: Wifi means free internet if you're in the vicinity of a wifi hotspot. But then again you wouldn't know about that cos you're too busy fiddling and farting with the camera :p

Yawn!!! I didnt say OS did I??? Yes they both symbian 9... Have you seen the difference in menus between the N73 and N80??
Yes the N80 has newer firmware, doesnt help all that much, its still slow.

That N80 battery still sucks, even with the new SW!!
The N73 is the most stable N-series out there...

You can lock the keypad with the N73, but like the N80 its a manual lock.

I got a PSP with WIFI, we have wifi in our building, and I can steal from my neighbour, but besides that I get a free sim with unlimited data...

Jolly good :)

N80 + keylock software is good :)

I've never experienced the N80 to be at all slow and mine is about as stable as I've ever seen a phone...

Well let me start off by saying THIS IS A FRIGGIN AWESOME PHONE MAN!!! It's virtually packed with features (gonna take some time to get used to the phone), the camera is good - is in line with my old Nikon 3.2mp. Got a cool plastic cover for the phone today.

Cool hope you enjoy!

PS: Be sure to check out the "useful N80 information" thread posted by mohammedm ;) Some pretty neat themes to be found there.

Read the fine print and search a few threads - you can't force an N73 to work in 3G mode, even if you're in a 3G covered area. You have to let the phone decide whether it's operating in 3G or GPRS, and whenever it switches between the two it drops the connection.

If I recall only one person said that they can force 3G on theirs, everybody else with an N73 said that they can't. It doesn't mean that if a phone is 3G capable that you can use it as a 3G data card.

You can however use the N80 as a 3G data card. But then again if you want the N73 then go for it, less people walking around with the same phone as me :p

One again people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do have a N73 phone and believe me you CAN FORCE 3G. !!!!:D :D

Please read all the threads.

You were the one I was referring to :p Everybody else with the same phone couldn't.
