N97; X1 or s8300

N97 without a thought. The X1 has Windows Mobile which is reason to avoid it

the only thing putting me off from nokia is that navigation..
 
And the fact that only after a few months out in the wild, Nokia's about to release a smaller version of the N97... There goes your resale value!

But the same with a X1 - the X2 is almost out...
 
i wouldnt touch wm for years, then took the leap..... AND LOVING IT.
the possiblities are endless, its like running new software every week. had x1 since december, best phone ive ever had. gave the gf my 3g iphone hehe.

yeah piesang got his x1 about same time as me, he definately a nokia and symbian guy :)

Yes, that's true. I like Nokia and Symbian OS but I think Blackberry is better. Oops!!!!

The latest Samsung offerings must be taken seriously. The Jet is set to take off and soar like no other before it. By all reports that I've seen this phone is awesome. The Pixon12 will be the Jet with an awesome camera. These two are'nt "smartphones" per the "open OS" definition but they have Samsung OS's that's been specifically designed around the very potent hardware. Very specific = very slick.
 
N97 awesome phone, very happy with mine running firmware v12.0.024.
Compared to a mate's X1 I would choose N97 everytime :)
