Naas knows his stuff. He knows more than most imho. He is a scholar of the game which is more than most of these other nitwits can claim.
Those that watch Boots n All will also know that the other 2 clowns dont know jack. Naas is the only one that makes any sense.
Owen struggles to speak most times.

No man. I have watched a few games where the audio wasn't working properly, and there were no commentators, it was not good. maybe live, but not on TV.
Naas is good, I like listening to his opinions, but agreed John Robbie is nice to listen to.
As for the commentators, I think we have a few good ones. Hugh Bladen, Joel Stranskey, Andy Capistanio...

That day at the stadium i had perfect reception and i can tell you it makes a huge difference, they should be able to route that good feed through to the tv
Hugh is funny cause he always seems drunk, joel makes me laugh at the amount of mistakes he makes, kinda reminds me of Trevor Quirk(sp?) but for rugby and I have nothing against Andy Capistanio. In saying that I still enjoy Hugh and Joel and I like Naas's opinions and break downs.

I think Naas just struggle to express himself in English, he makes a lot more sense in Afrikaans.

At the very least, I expect a "expert commentator" to tell me something about the game I don't see myself. Why equip the guy with a pen to draw on the screen the, if that is not his role is not to inform? I mean I know enough to understand "it is not over till its over".
What's with Capistanio's lame pronunciation of Afrikaans names? Some he gets right, some he gets stupidly wrong. And they are the easy ones. When I came back to SA after 20 years ago, I thought he was a pom. Now I believe he was born here!

Then take extra lessons! If the man is paid to speak in english, then he make the effort to learn it. Or let him speak Afrikaans, like with some players who answer questions in english in afrikaans. I assume it is because they don't feel they can express themselves properly in english.

Personally I like Naas and his broken English livens the whole thing up for me ... he's practically created his own little language ('Let's be honest ...'). Maybe you can crit him on his English, which I really don't think is a big deal, but his analysis of the game is quite solid IMO. Beats old Joost hands down, that guy is as thick as two planks! A legend on the field but not sure who told him he has a way with words

Well, compared to poor Joost, the man is eloquent. I don't mind bad english. Living in SA you have to enjoy it or you will go crazy. I just don't see what he adds... Oh well, hundreds of thousands do... or maybe millions. I guess maybe if you saw him play you feel different about him. I never did. But I saw Joost! He was great. My favourite memory? Giving the trophy to the wrong team (just joking!)

But yea. He is good to watch at listen to. And he does know his rugby. Not like that other racist doofus they tried out on boots n all

All in all. I think we have a pretty good team of rugby presenters. My only thought is that I would like to see Joel and John Robbie more on the programs (Boots + All out rugby)
