+100, I find he nails my feelings about games very well, (mw2 and borderlands for example)The only review videos I check out is Zero Punctuation. Hilarious!

Stopped buying it about 3 months ago. July's issue is sitting on my desk, unread. Nothing concrete - just a feeling of boredom when it reading it.
I still buy NAG, i can't drag my PC into the bathroom, but the magazine works nicely there.....does that make the magazine crap?. For R40 or so, it's ok.
As for alternatives, PCFormat is a little too hardware/general for my tastes. Or rather, it covers all kinds of gadgetry/tech/software in favor of games. Trouble is, i read my tech reviews online , but games reviews and news i'm happy to read in the mag, so PCFormat tends to cut out on the game/console news in favor of other tech [like cellphones , cameras or printers ] which i have no interest in.
+1 - exact reason why I buy PC Format.
Although I find lately that the PC Format GEAR supplement grabs my attention more.

Its very funny that you posted this, I actually bought a PC-Format the other day for the first time in years (Always used to buy NAG, but same thing, got gatvol of the childish attitude and sloppy design), I have to say the PC-Format articles are great, kept me entertained the same way EDGE does, I hope its not just this one issue of PC-Format I got which was good, but I would def check it out if I was you.

Nag is not the magazine it used to be , and as for the editorials my goodness they have gone from bad to worse , at least miktar only does reviews , so we dont hear his high and mighty thoughts anymore
