Hi so I usually cant w8 to go buy the NAG each month but from like a phew monthes back the NAG became extremely boring and LaME , I dont like it any more and find the PC-Format better ??.......
Is it just me or is someone sharing this feeling with me ?

spend the money on Bandwidth, gamespot, IGN, gametrailers, etc. that crap is for people who haven't got ADSL

I apologise for doing this but I just had to!

What is up with the language people use nowadays?!?! I used to think it was mxit/sms talk in which the youth were trying to save time by abbreviating things ("w8" etc) but then you throw in things like "phew". Am I correct in assuming that was just a rather complicated spelling error or is it just some rebellious attempt to be different that I can look forward <dripping sarcasm> to seeing more of in future?

:D was a sarcastic stab at Lance

I find with NAG, the only interesting articles are the writers personal sections. Game and hardware reviews I find online as they come out. No use waiting a month for news..

NAG=load of C R A P

The articles are really dumb the reviews are fairly boring. And the dvd is filled with rubbish that nobody wants. And not to mention the forums are run by a bunch of Idiots.

OBE I tell you :p

But in all seriousness, PC mags will be a dying breed as the same technology\information they are representing, is obtained more easily and quicker online. I wouldn't mind a digital version of Nag for kindle or something though.

Used to buy it up until a couple months ago,read reviews in there that I read months before online..and the quality of the mag has dropped drastically.

I still buy NAG, i can't drag my PC into the bathroom, but the magazine works nicely there.....does that make the magazine crap? :D . For R40 or so, it's ok.

As for alternatives, PCFormat is a little too hardware/general for my tastes. Or rather, it covers all kinds of gadgetry/tech/software in favor of games. Trouble is, i read my tech reviews online , but games reviews and news i'm happy to read in the mag, so PCFormat tends to cut out on the game/console news in favor of other tech [like cellphones , cameras or printers ] which i have no interest in.

I still buy it, but over the last 3 or 4 months I have noticed severe deteriation ... especially in the thickness of the magazine. I know they say budget cuts, no great games to write about ... I'm now starting to think about not buying it every month.
