Nag Winter Edition

Got my new NAG today (and no, I didn't go to the launch party :p). Got print #111, very cool.

Great edition and the quality is still amazing. The magazine reeks though lol. :sick:

Received mine yesterday, cover 01 and print #251.

That smell took me back to high school. Not because I sniffed chemicals, it is just how I remember NAG / PCF smelling.
 
Oh I have cover 2 (or the girl, forgot her name).
 
I didn't even know there is a new one..

Released 27 June already. Damn lol.

It has been lying on my desk, and I haven't read it. It has been some weeks now.

The previous edition, the one covering AC: Shadows, has some upside-down pages. Lol. I don't mind. I think it is only the headset reviews.

I still need to get around to reading the latest NAG.

No upside down pages in mine lol. Just checked. The printer must have spazzed when it printed your copy.
 
Finally got my NAG today :)

A score of 99/100 for Clair Obscur...

One of the highest scores I've ever seen in NAG. Can't remember if a game ever got 100. Maybe there was one or two, I don't know.

I guess I'm gonna have to try the game too someday to see what everyone is talking about lol.

Yup, returned their stupid stickers on Thursday, got my refund on Friday and my NAG arrived yesterday :)
 
Delivery to my location is about R120. But yeah R320 for a magazine is getting a bit crazy. Will wait till I can get it for cheaper.

Since the NAG relaunch, I have ordered every NAG through its online store. I have a couple of collectibles.
 
I am also a bit jealous of not being able to go to the Retro LAN. I have never been to the rAge Expo. The last time I went to a big LAN was at OC, and that was before it started dying down a bit.

There are still a couple of small annual LANs in my area, and it is mostly for the older ballies. You would have people between 35-55 attending these with their kids. How long that will last, I don't know. It is not easy to get a venue at a reasonable fee anymore, and with the price of electricity, it is becoming ever more inaccessible.
