It is time to name all this people that work for Vodacom that do not know what the hell they are talking about.
The manager of Vodacom The bridge Poprt Elizabeth.
No name but have card at the office. will edit later.
Come people bring out those names.

What are you going on about Beri?

Name and shame them for what exact reason?

And how is doing what you want to do going to solve anything?

and is it any different at the MTN shops or the Cell C shops or ANY shop dealing in almost anything for that matter?

Could work both ways, I guess....

Often VC get blasted on this forum and when I look into it, it becomes clear the client had the wrong end of the story. Some favorites include incorrect billing (we then show how the data was actually downloaded), incompatibility problems that get sorted by fixing the PC, locked cards that got bought overseas, contract applications that won't be accepted but the client's got a string of bad credit ratings, etc....

It's normally easy to see these specific cases. They start of with screaming, abusive posts, and suddenly go dead quiet (when it's realised the problem was on their side  )

Sometimes I need to resist the urge to post the final outcome here...:o :)

But getting into a blame-game is not going to solve any problem. Working together, even if it's a painful process, will.

You are correct. It does work both ways. What gets me mad is the fact that someone tells me that my phone does not have edge and then go and comfirm it with the techie in the back. Then you read their own inhouse mag. it says it does have edge. I could be wrong as well and it could be a setting that is wrong. I am not the expert. They should have taken the phone and tested it. Make sure that it is working or not.
I am sure you get just as mad sometimes that you just cannot take it. Well i am at that place.

You can not blame any network for bad service you receive @ a store. All cell stores are own by individuals.

They put the vodacom stamp on their door. Vodacom must make sure that the franchise staff are educated.
I am angry with the service I get from people that do not know what they are talking about. Read all the posts on this forum and you will see that i am not the only one.

As Tahir knows, there is a channel in Vodacom that tries to ensure the shops are up to speed, I've send your experience to them.

But Tahir is also right in that the shops are independently owned and they must ensure training, etc.
