Napping at work

I had a colleague who used to nap in her office. However, she would take her clothes off and nap in her underwear. Once she was surprised by the corporate services manager who got in with his key, ostensibly to do assets registering (not sure if he did it deliberately).
Funny thing is, she told him off and he apologized.

Because she didn't want to drool in her work clothes ?

What an odd lady... was she hot ?

This thread made me so sleepy. I think I might go and buy a couch for my office just to take afternoon naps on.

Also at around 2pm, the winter sun hits my office perfectly.

Probably doesn't want to crease her work clothes.

if I didn't snore, but alas. 30 minutes would do wonders on a low energy day.

Yes. I actually don't see anything wrong with it. Pure chutzpah :). I would do it too but have a phobia of nosy CSMs with skeleton keys.
Anyway, I have a glass-walled office :(

Once visited a factory . There was a guy sleeping on a piece of cardboard inside factory 30 mins later he was back at work working :)

The only place I've ever seen this not be a fireable offence was at the great broederbond print company Naspers/Media24.

There you would often find the newspaper guys especially passed out and snoring under their desks with just their toes sticking out.

I suspect it had to do with the crazy hours they often had to work and I'm sure if I tried the same stuff in IT I would get thrown out.

But I've often wondered why companies don't consider adding lounging rooms where they have those psychologist chairs setup, or even better like the Google way with those massaging chairs. I could see myself doing that for 30min every day and being much more productive.
