NAS OS - recommendations, inputs and opinions

I also have me a spare p3 1000ghz server, which I am going to setup as my ipcop box - inspired by some of the folks in TK.

Why run IPCop, when you can run Smoothwall, or pfSense!

More food for thought - research to be continued.

Already you got me looking for another spare pc , to run my zoneminder - that I saw you recommend in another thread- seen as I already have a card and cameras, the software was always the issue, but zoneminder seems to solve it.

:D apologies! But I punt pfSense (sorry Libs) and Zoneminder and Wug every chance I get! :D
 
confirmed - Rectron no longer supply chenbro locally.

So the hunt for the mass order continues.

Come on all you folks with your prospective - NAS and HTPC buils - the ES34069 is perfecto.

I am trying to get some indication of the interest.
