Native Club: Mbeki must explain

It definitely was/is not a joke. One of my best buddy’s was there. And according to him it was such a joke he had to choke himself not to laugh out loud.

So I guess i can now start a "whites only" club now without any issues... disgusting dual standards

When I read this article last night I knew you would post it. I see you still only post bad/contriversial articles

You're fully entitled to do so as far as I'm aware (in the comfort of you own home, not in any public space)

The problem with TNC is that they're apparently receiving money from the government. As soon as you receive government support you have to comply with the constitution. The constitution says no discrimination apart from AA. Depends on what kind of venue they used as well.

Bad or not.

This is a very real and dangerous issue. We should be paying some serious attention to these allegations. Waar daar 'n rokie is, is daar 'n vuurtjie.

I refuse to ignore the obvious

LOL ... smokescreen.
You should take a closer look at the billions evaporating from governmint coffers, and not be blinded by little institutions such as this.

Remember that IVY's "look like me comment" was not even questioned by the higher powers.
Racism is used to help encourace corruption within the governmint under the pretence that the perviously dis-advantaged will be the end benefactors of their greed.

Jstrike you have been on this forum long enough to have a small insight in the way I think. In my mind there is no future for the white man, be it intellectuals, farmers academic or the normal working stiff. My campaign has reached phenomenal success (you know what I’m talking about. It is very simple, those that don’t want the country to bloom by implementing their laws of bee and aa,can suffer. I moved my company’s to the USA. Why? because there is no future for me and my kind here. Why don’t I leave? hell man I have a couple more years, perhaps. So now there is a "Native club," intellectuals se gat, they got together to see how they can
squeeze the last drop of blood from the hated whiteman

The truth of the matter is right in the middle of everything we read in the print media and listen and see on radio or tv. The mistake made today is to say that everything that came with colonization and settlement was bad. This was a huge boost in advancement on both a cultural and technological level. The mistakes made however include restrictions of the civil liberties and freedoms of so called "native" peoples. This was wrong. We know that today, but in the context of the days gone by the folks back then didn't have any issues with it, which is why it is so wrong to punish the people of today for those mistakes.

Apartheid was a speck on the face of South Africa's over 400 year fling with the west. It lasted a mere 50 odd years and was a major mistake in terms of its restrictions on the freedom of movement people should have a right to in a single country. Apartheid was however the single biggest driver of infrastructure development in the history of South Africa. The monuments of this (what I like to call) Infrastructure Age in South Africa are used by millions of people every day. The major freeways, electrical and telecoms infrastructure was built with government funds gotten from mainly the Gold trade. One can say that this was not enjoyed at large by the black majority (which is true), but then you only have to look across the border to see what the rest of Africa looks like where they had no Apartheid. We know these systems are being paralized today (which is a major issue for the new government and the way it governs itself) but they exist none the less because of the mass of Western minded folks who settled here. More so than in any other African country, which is evident in the fact that South Africa, despite being the furthest away from the trading partners in the West and the East has the largest and most productive economy on the continent. These people happen to be white, which is nothing but an illusion.

I am white, but my strength doesn't reside in my skin. It resides in my culture, my family's insistence upon educating every kid, myself included. We believe in the upkeep of our surroundings including the cars we drive, the buildings we work and live in and the roads we use. We believe in providing for the future.

That is where Africa's future strenght resides. South Africa is better equiped for making it BIG than any other African country because the people here have been exposed to a culture of advancement for longer and much more intensely. Is this saying that African culture is imperfect? Yes! Is it saying Western culture is perfect? NO! There is (as is the case with many things) a healthy middle ground that can be so good for all of us.

How do we find this middle ground? Through honesty.

Honesty about the past. Not everything was bad.

Honesty about the present. Not everything is good.

Honesty about the question of our future. How will we find the middle ground?

Very well said antowan. The truth normally lies in the middle, and this is where our strength is as well

:D So Angelo may the "right wingers" now call it the "K" club as if I can remember all the other references as below were and still is racist or illegal

Plural
Non white
Nie blanke
"Non believer"
etc

I agree many things you have articulated. I seek clarity on a few.

I will accept this statement if you are willing to accept that what you perceive as an advancement in culture, others see it as degrading it.

For an example. An African man who no longer can afford to have two wives because the economic systems of the west brought new rules. Such as money instead of livestock.

Erm, I see economic mismanagment across the border, are you suggesting that, that mismanagement resulted from lack of apartheid ? Surely not ?

Nicely put.

Honesty is the best policy.
How honest is our Government. They say one thing but mean another.

Gosh is this what it is all about, they have hard feelings cos they cannot keep a harem and cows, or is that the same. For them woman was same as live stock, not? Zuma have prov-en this recently! Working the land while they sit, eat and wait for the next fight!, The lost culture, the cause of over populated and thus starving Africa. Screw and make kids and let the wives worry about them as they had many wife's but little worries. Back to the bundus with you my boy!

That last statement about mismanagement is just as confusing! it not only over the border it is here and now.
