Hi guys. Do you guys use your phone's native SMS app or did you take the trouble to download Google Messages and switch instead?
South Africa’s biggest forum. Discuss, discover, and connect with thousands of members.
Only small irritation with it is that it has a small delay when marking things as read and if you jump directly to the message it doesnt always mark it as read.I use SpamHound on Android, works very well since my ex domestic decided to put my mobile number when she opened clothing accounts and I get never ending warning sms's from debt collectors.
Can set up spam filter based on keyphrase/number.
No idea why this isn't a default part of SMS apps.
You should help the community by using the feedback option in the app to request Google to add that feature. Apparently that's what Google recommends if you'd like a feature added.Google messages did not give me the option to block word phrases, therefore I got another app for the sms.
