Trying to run at max here.

Have a pretty average PC, but MMO's generally don't need powerful PC's.

Current setup

i3 2120 3.3ghz
zalman z7 plus case
Gigabyte z68 motherboard (AP-D3)
8 GB DDR3 RAM
Radeon HD 5670

Uh... What else to mention? Have not played a PC game since Diablo 3 came out I swear to god and before that all I did was play WoW, been too busy working lately and stressing.

Time for a relaxation with GW2 when it comes out.

Looking at a budget of about R2000, but hoping to keep it below that.

Me too. I also need a serious graphics card. My PC is really outdated and I cannot use graphic programmes as the on-board card is yonks old and the newer graphics card is worn out or died or something. I have no idea what mix of mother board and stuff I have anymore as my sone has upgraded the thing for me several times with scraps he had lying around at his work place...
I was kinda hoping to win the Google Nexus7....
Any reasonably priced graphics card for us two people on this lonely thread?

Erm, open the case and look what's inside.

Or use something like PC Wizard 2012 (it's free) etc to identify all your components for you

Have you looked at Archers Charts?

I'd slap 500 to it and get 560TI

KFA2 GTX560/Leadtek GTX560 or if you can GTX560ti (~R2300) or AMD 7850 (R2500)

The 7850 and 560ti are very powerful cards, do you really think I need something that powerful?

I know it'll probably last longer to buy better but I'm saving money atm for a new bike/bicycle - depending on how things pan out.

Well that's a question you'll need to answer.
I like having my settings pretty high for all the eye candy.

But if you don't particularly mind then a 7770 would do depending on price.

I'd look on carbonite for a 5850, they going for ~R1100 on there which is still an awesome card..

hd 7850 i have max the game on 1920x1200 , though tad above 2k

if you do buy the gtx 560ti , remember not to install the newest driver, i read yesterday that it actually lowers performance on nvidia cards, cant remember where i saw the graphs :(

Thinking of longevity that's all.
