Hi guys,

I wanna if the following parts will be a great success or will it blow up in my wallet...

-Intel Boxed Core i5 3570K - 3.40GHz Quad Core - Socket 1155 CPU
-MSI Intel Z77A-G45 - Chipset Socket 1155 - Motherboard MSI Intel Z77A-G45 - Chipset Socket 1155 - Motherboard
-RaidMax 730W PSU 135mm Blue LED Fan RaidMax 730W PSU 135mm Blue LED Fan
-Raidmax Super Aeolus Black - Windowed Side Panel - No PSU Raidmax Super Aeolus Black - Windowed Side Panel - No PSU

the reason for me asking is cause the i5 and motherboard will go together but the chasis and motherboard is about 1cm out from the measurements on takealot.com, as well as will this power supply be enough to power sound card, 8gigs ram and the 4 fans and the cpu?

PSU will be fine, as long as the case can fit a normal atx motherboard then it will be fine too. Look at the asrock Z77 extreme4 motherboard too, similar price range but better in my opinion.

I would go for the zalman z9 u3 , very nice mid tower case, i enjoy mine very much!

Its quite cheap also , R700 will save you some money!

Zalman Z12 plus is also decent for R900

Thanks for the help i had to check by landmark computers to check the chassis out, its good 1...

Thanks alot guys im gonna get the components and finish this pc :)

Meh, everything's a little overpriced at Landmark compared to other stores. I would suggest ASRock's Z77 Extreme 4 if you have the cash, it's a wonderful board. Otherwise, the MSI is a solid choice.

I don't like Raidmax products, though. The Aeolus won't be deep enough for some CPU coolers and it lacks USB 3.0 ports. It also doesn't have cable management and the second HDD bay is in the worst possible place. Its a good thing its removable. I had to build a PC into an Aeolus once - never again. Take your pick from any of these:

Fractal Design Arc Midi @ R759.64 (review here)
Bitfenix Outlaw @ R598.50 (review here, it's since been updated with USB 3.0)
Zalman Z5 Plus @ R612.18 (review here)

My personal preference is the Arc Midi, it's really good value for money. I would also, if cash-strapped, pick the Outlaw over the Zalman, I prefer the rotated layout. The Z5 Plus is pretty much a poor man's NZXT, but it's just as capable.

I also wouldn't pick the Raidmax PSU because, unless its a new one, that is pretty much a 450W PSU. Its design and components allows you to draw up to 700W from it, but running it like that for extended hours when you're playing games or the like is not a good idea. I know people who got burned from using similar power supplies from Gigabyte (the old Odin series) that were rated for peak power output and not continues. Unless it's Raidmax's new RX series, which are based on Seasonic, I'd avoid them. If you're powering up a single GPU in this rig, this is what I'd recommend:

be quiet! Pure Power L8 CM 530w @ R795 (review here)
XFX Core 550W @ R749 (review here)

I'd go with the Pure Power though, modular cables always takes the cake. The XFX is here as a compromise if the L8 is out of stock, although it's one of the better 550W Bronze units out there.

My apologies in advance if my recommendation would mean spending more money, but I feel that one shouldn't skimp on quality with the PSU and the chassis

Thanks for the information.

Whats your opinion about the following:
