Hi all

Recently got a broken 360, which I've fixed up and given a new lick of paint ;)

I don't want to swop the power adapter between this console and my other 360, especially if my other family members wanna play simultaneously.

Anyone have one they'd love to part company with? We can negotiate in PM.

Or can someone direct me to another source for a decent price.

R1k. Man o man thats bad.

It'll be cheaper to import one from the UK then (Not sure about how much duties will add to it). I was hoping to get one locally.

I'll phone MI Digital tomorrow, see what gives. Otherwise import.

What voltage are our wall sockets?

Hey FrancTheTank

I bought the broken Core from Retro but it was only the console. Hence I need to buy accessories to use the machine.

I have a Pro console as well (bought in Dec) but I don't want the hassle of swopping power bricks. Especially if I want to game simultaneously (I'm not the only family member that wants to game in my house ;) )

Thats why I need a power supply. The other stuff (controllers, a/v cables, etc) are easy to get.

I'm a DIY kinda guy, and would propose getting a PC power supply and hooking it up that way. (PC power supply, cheap, stable plenty output options) Unsure of the outputs of the power brick? or plug for power?

EBAY UK
Check that link, from the UK u looking at around 30 quid with shipping within the UK, not too bad and all u need to do is find someone you know in the UK (these days cant be too hard?)

Thanks guys. I'll look into it.

On the ATX PSU hack, I might struggle to find a 200-250W power supply. Dem PSUs are old :(

Don't be constrained to 250W psu, the main thing should be at least 17Amps on the 12V rail.(check the sticker on the side) more is always better, but may not be used.

@maestro_za I have one. Make me an offer. I think the R800 in the previous post is way to much.

Voodoo

EDIT: Since you are modding you might be interested in a broken 360 premium that I also have lying around.

@ Retro.

The classic x-clamp issue, meaning the chips and motherboard didn't have sufficient contact. I sorted that out. I need a PSU though so that I can leave my Pro console in peace (GTA 4 is so addictive)

@ Voodoo. I PM'd you. That premium you have , does it still have its HDD? It would be a great help :D
