Hi

In short the problem is as follows:

Junk Mail Advertisement abuse. I have a friend who is victim of this. I have the IP Addresses of those responsible. I've narrowed down the IP Addresses to Vodacom's network. Either 3G/EDGE/GPRS.

Now how do I get vodacom to divulge the personal details and particulars of the perpetrator??

This has been logged with the Police. I am assuming I need some sort of court order to force VODA to release the info??

Any help, tips, contacts or points in the right direction will be greatly appreciated.

Get a subpoena 205 from the magistrate`s court , once you have this contact Risk management on 0116535000 to start proceedings.

just to add , if this is a prepaid number sending your friend the spam its like looking for a needle in a haystack , these guys chop and change sims like they breathe air.

Thanks a lot for the information. I am pretty sure the perp is a close friend or family member. The attacks are personal, so I am hoping it will narrow the search down.

Hopefully the person was NOT smart enough to have used alternate sim's for the data entries. Anyways thanks for the Information and I will pursue this further.
