Need an intervalometer before christmas

Anyone know where I could get a cheap generic one for the 650d that wont cost me a limb?

Not quite sure if I want to use ML as I see that people are complaining of firmware issues for the model.

I'm getting the hahnel Giga T Pro II Wireless Timer Remote for my 550D for Christmas. I've played extensively with CHDK on my point 'n shoot but up until now, I never knew something like MagicLantern existed for SLR's.

hmm looks like a nice piece I want to try keep the extras down to a minimum as its just one less thing to worry about. I'd be happy with a wired one, found this one: MC-C1 Timer Shutter Release Cord for Canon which I think I'm going to go for.

Last thing I need now is a good Dolly then I think I'm set!

That looks like a good deal. I decided to go wireless so I can take close-ups of my bird feeder. The wired remotes typically come with an extremely short cable eg. the one you mentioned = 850mm. I guess it all depends on what you are going to be using it for eg. Astral photography/Pics of table mountain, etc. would be fine.

Its worth taking a look on Bid or Buy but you would probably have to wait till after Christmas as most of the items are shipped from China.
