Undercover is the Most Wanted clone with less music, rarer cars and more lens flare
Don't play it on max settings, all you see are reflections that blind you The steering is interesting, if you fiddle with the tuning you can really nail corners perfectly.
As for difficulty? Pfft, ive dominated every race so far without repeating it

Had such high hopes that NFS was going to go back to glory days ...... should have known better
I have always had a soft spot for the NFS franchise... Wierd.... but I have it 
Undercover is the biggest 'letdown' in the series so far. I say it on quotes as its not a shocker of a game, just clearly not a step forward.
What ruins it the most for me, is the WAY over the top twitchy cornering. I understand this is more an Arcade racer, but come on.... there's Arcade.... then there's this! Aside from that - as has been stated - its really just Most Wanted with more exotic cars than tuner.
Honestly, I was hoping to see a Prostreet graphical equivalent (screenshots looked Great), with better Most Wanted gameplay. As one can deduce.... I'm a little let down.
I enjoy playing the game in spurts, but it just doesnt have that...... thing..... that makes you want to keep playing

Agreed, Prostreet had the graphics. I read that the Beugatti Veyron is in the game, so I will continue to play it just to play with that car.

First impression? Bad recap on Most Wanted. Doesn't feel as raw and in your face with engines growling

Yeah, as awesome as it actually is ingame... I finally purchased it, spent 30min driving round, escaped the cops once/twice and stopped.
And that's why they should release a demo first... We should actually be allowed to take the game back and demand a refund, using the "there was no demo available to test" excuse. Luckily I don't have a PS3 or Xbox 360 and wasted R600 on this game...
Yeah.... Feel REALLY sorry for the guys/gals who feel that their hard earned ZA rands could've been better spent... But hey, EA professes to liseten to the community (considering the move back to Most Wanted I think this is only slightly true), so maybe they'll actually do some good with the next one, and fire the person responsible for the cars handling in Undercover
I also read somewhere, where they say that only 20% of games make profit and this might be why.
Even if you try hard enough, you can't avoid using it.

Played a bit more, I'm now into tier 3 cars.
Won an Audi TT, and bought an old GTR. Audi is slower, but handling seems better (and oh that engine sounds sweet)... Busy upgrading the GTR though.
Turned down world effect detail to low. Much less of an issue with all that blurry crap.
I drive with the bumper cam on a joystick, and the game looks much better now.
Think they should've made it clearer what upgrades are available, without you having to go into all the menus first. Simple colour coded dots perhaps, red for locked, yellow for unaffordable and green for available. Blue can indicated fitted parts.
Autosculpting bars move WAY too slow, and only update when you stop moving the bar. Irritates the crap out of me.
Cop heli is a bitch.
Tab to race is nice, but I miss the GPS feature. Driving towards your next challenge every now and then was fun. You can still use the GPS to jump to any selected race.

Oh - One additional irritation - It does not support my 20 inch Acer's native 1400x1050 
Closest I can go is 1280x960

I am so dissapointed with this game, after all the hype I really did expect more!
