Need HELP connecting using phone as Modem!!!!!

Hi

I am not sure if anybody has posted this before if they have apologies. I have been connecting to the internet using a samsung J700 as the modem. I have recently acquired a Samsung J750 which is a 3G phone. I have put my old sim card in the phone, but am now unable to connect. I have had MTN send appropriate settings etc. I have no idea what the problem could be.
Interestingly I can connect using a new sim card in the phone. I would like to use my old sim card though. Can anybody help with this problem. Would be much appreciated.

Mom's phone also had this issue long ago. It was a J750 also; can't temember how we/I solved the problem. Google is your best bet for now.

You might need to do a sim swap, I think the whole 3G story is sim dependant?

Try establishing a new connection, the one that you would have would be recognising and configuring the old modem.
