Need help for financing a bike privately pls

Hiya guys,

Friend is selling his 2009 CBX 250 Twister for R23 000. It has 600km on the clock so is a real bargain. Just so happens I have been looking for a bike like this....so timing is good, but who can I use for financing a bike privately?

I checked on AA website...but its seems its only cars they finance privately. Anyone know? Would really appreciate some help here! Thanks

Yeh - try get a personal loan for that amount.

Biggest mistake I ever did was a personal loan....wont ever go that situation again no matter how bad things get. Applying to P2P, they said with it being a 2009 model...wont need a deposit, but they might just stuff me on the interest rate...

Parental has offered to pay for it...and I just pay back. Should be able to pay it off in a year or less (as I do a few private jobs...and getting paid for them soon as they near completion)...tempted to take up the offer cos no interest this way, but hate putting them in this situation as I can afford to finance it no problem...

Take up the offer.

P2P have me paying prime+2% on the S2000 . fortunately its three months till its paid off - much to their horrow, it will be financed for 18 months instead of 54

I will chat to them this weekend. Seems my mothers company is not doing so great with the recession...so not sure why they offering for me to pay them back. Dont wanna put them in a bad place...so will discuss it with them.

Dude! You are so lucky! I have 22 months left on my car....cant wait till its paid off!! Gonna them keep this car for as long as possible...gets tiring always having a car to pay off these past years...
