Sell it with the scratch, trying to repair it cheaply will only make things worse. if it's a private deal you can always negotiate how much you will knock off the selling price.

You get a Coki (spelling?) Pen that you buy at Auto spare places. It's a transparent colour and covers scratches perfectly. Will see if I can find a name or brand. But it depends on the size and depth of the scratch.

Yes and shouldn't be used to remove a scratch.
Sell the car as is, you'll take a small knock but it would probably cover the repair cost anyway so leaving you as you were.
