need help to decide which tablet?

Beware if buying a Nexus 7 locally now that you will probably get old stock -- the 2nd version has just been released in the US and is slowly becoming available in the UK and Europe. SA outlets are almost sure to be moving old stock. The new one is a huge improvement -- better screen (best in class, apparently), faster etc., and is slightly more expensive than the first iteration.

The biggest improvement is 3g/4g/lte

The old one's screen is already best in class, resolution wise. The only 7" tablet with a higher resolution than the old Nexus 7 is the new one coming out. Also the cellular version isn't available yet. Also the old one is nice and cheap now precisely because there's a new one.
