Need help with a remote control for Sansui Media Player

Did u ever find a replacement remote? Or an easy solution? My Sansui media player remote is refusing to work REALLY struggling to find a replacement

On a serious note, our remote for our really early LCD tv (one of the first LCD tv's in the country) started to give problems.

We bought a Uni remote but it didnt work, we tried all the codes on the book. One day i got fed up and opened it. I couldnt believe the amount of oil and much that was on the PCB, I cleaned it and now it works 100%

Hi all,
I'm looking for help with a sansui SHT 10 system I've inherited ... (previous tenant in house I'm renting left it behind). I've connected it to the zone 2 line out on my SR608 Onkyo hoping I could just use it as a sub (I don't have a regular one). But can't get any sound out. Realised I wasn't using the remote.. . But even when I found it, and hit the standby button, the sansui light stays red. Does this mean it's not powering on? It flickers green, then back to red. I assume it should stay green? Same with any button I press on the remote. Guessing this thing is just dead, but thought I'd ask...
