I have an old USB Wifi unit picture below, that works with no hassles when I boot Linux but needs a drivers to work on Windows.

Linux identifies it as "Intersil Prism 2.x 802.11b Adapter"

The only drivers I found on the net was for Windows XP 32 bit that doesn't work.

Is there any advice on what I can do to get it working on Windows 7 64 bit?

Did you try and visit the manufacturer's website for the drivers for Windows Vista at least? 98% of Win Vista stuff works like a well oiled machine in Win 7

If it's an XP era device you're unlikely to find Vista/7 drivers. Toss it.

Pity, Like I said it works 100% with Linux and that without installing any drivers or special hacking. I only wanted to be able to use it when I boot Windows 7, once in a while. Not going to chuck it as replacing it will be a pain.

The unit comes with a 3 meter usb cable that is part of the device and I love that feature as I can connect it against the wall around a corner to get better reception.

Oh well Guess my Windoes 7 will just have to go without internet connection.

Thanx for the help people.
