I am a 25 year old male and I need to pick up wieght. Is there anyone here that can help me with a diet that can make me gain wieght. I eat allot but just stay skinny. Anya advice would help.

Breakfast: 2x McMuffin with all the trimmings + Pancakes
Lunch: King Steer Burger, 2 x Rave Burgers and 1 Large fries
Dinner: Romans Pizza, 2 x Large Pepperoni Deluxe

You'll gain weight in no time...

well it purely depends how much effort you willing to put into gaining weight. i am assuming you don't want to just get fat right?

What kind of weight do you want to gain? Are you working out and trying to gain muscle mass or do you just want to put on fat?

Space_Kriek, I'm in exactly the same situation. I'm about 5"6 and weigh 55kgs. I started exercising regularly (weights, situps, pushups) about 3 - 4 times a week a few months ago and managed to gain about 1.5-2kgs. The weird thing is that I am now exercising 5 - 6 days a week (weights, pushups, situps and now pullups), but have lost that 2kgs I gained. I definitely look better, but my actual weight hasn't moved. I expect I might have to up my regime again and try and push my body further.

If you are looking at gaining weight, you should google the "Gomad diet". It's a galon of milk a day, which I did for a couple of weeks but was getting sick of drinking so much milk. It might help. Another thing I did for a while was make peanut butter (with banana and a bit of chocolate) smoothies for lunch almost every day. (Now that I think about it, I should probably start these again as they were probably helping with my weight gain).

But at the end of the day though, as long as you see a visual improvement and start to feel better, that's the main thing. Tim Ferris (author of the 4 hour work week and 4 hour body) once put an image up of a woman before, and after. In the first image she was quite overweight, and very flabby. In the next image, she was well toned and looking much better.

Her weight before and after? It was exactly the same. He used the image to illustrate the fact that we should not be specifically aiming for weight loss or gain as a marker for personal fitness.

Anyway dude, hope my 2c helps. I'm not expert but this is the kind of stuff I've found.

In fact what you really need is a good free weight exercise regime. Your body is simply unused to processing food into muscles which would give you the appearance of bulk. More food would just make you fat, as long as you already eat good sized portions. Anybody can pick up muscle mass, and we all start from nowhere.

Drinking protein supplements should help you build muscle as well the excess will become a bit of flab.

Getting a good gym program or drinking supplements will NOT work! Getting into one's desired shape is 70% diet! If you eat the correct foods, at the correct times and the correct weight, you will gain weight. Add in a good training program and you will see results in no time.

KFC, Pizza, Pasta and Pies. Do not run or jog. Do not come near a gym or any exercise equipment. Watch sport, do not participate. Do not walk more than you absolutely have to. No swimming, instead just sit on the steps, eating chips.

Get life gain from Dischem stores, great weight gaining product, You can read more about the products here www.nativa.co.za

Milk. Check how quickly babies grow on that stuff...

....cheese, butter, ice cream, yogurt, etc...you will be flabby in no time. The Dinka tribe of Sudan have this crazy ritual where young boys go to the mountain to gain weight and return as fully grown, flabby men. While in the mountains, they drink milk and nothing else.
