Hi there
An acquaintance of mine can't login to his Macbook after switching the keyboard input to a French layout (it might be AZERTY, still trying to determine which) (in order to temporarily have easy access to certain special characters). After some inactivity/sleep, the Macbook now presents the login screen, but does not accept the password, most probably because the keyboard has not been set back to UK or US English. This is easy enough to fix once you are able to log in, which is precisely what were unable to do in this case.
I've found this page, but it seems that the Spotlight short cut key combination first has to be disabled before this can be of any help.
I'm troubleshooting over email and do not have access to an Apple computer myself. The password is: 317olgamy
Would it be possible for anyone with an apple computer to temporarily switch to Frech input in order to determine which characters have to be pressed to enter the password stated above?
Thanks!
