We hold what we call a top 5 music evening every now and then. Each person selects their top 5 titles, we play them and rate each persons playlist. To select the top top 5.

I never win. Never. In fact I am always last.

The group seems to like more emosional music. The depro sort of music. Things that bring tears to ones Eyes.

please help me with some suggestions.

Sounds jaded to me lol ;) :D :p

Michael Buble - Lost
Tori Amos - I will follow you
Evanescence - Bring me to life (this will score at least with one or two).
Just Jinger - What He means
Bryan Adams - Cloud no 9

;)

Give him everything, muhahahaha ;) I assumed it was commercial ;)

Would help if it was commercial - would hate to play something and then have to explain what happened :D

Right, artists off the dome.

Commercial:

*

Non-commercial:

Trip-hop: Portishead.

Electronic/IDM: Alias & Ehren, The Flashbulb, Bjork, MĂşm.

Vocal: Badi Assad, My Brightest Diamond.

Real instruments: Efterklang, Colleen.

Here's my choice ;)

Goth (old school) : Sisters of Mercy - Floodland
EBM : C-Lekktor - Refusing the Paradise
Industrial : Digital Poodle - Division
Industrial Rock : Nine Inch Nails - Head like a Hole
Alternative (to me anyway) : New Model Army - Vagabonds

It'll change your world ;):D

Vagabonds always reminds me of The Doors (the nightclub, not the band).

Set the fire to the third bar - Snow Patrol
Broken - Seether
Evanescence - My Immortal

Can't think of more right now....

Mmkay... kick off with "Someday We'll Know" (The New Radicals), follow with "Mercy Street" (Peter Gabriel) and "Oh, Yeah!" (Roxy Music), hurt them with "No Ordinary Morning" (Chicane) and pick the whole thing up with "Easier To Be" (Lifehouse).

Tori Amos - Gold Dust
Tori Amos - Can't see New York
Peter Gabriel & Kate Bush - Don't give up
William Orbit - Barbers Adagio for Strings
Alex Morph - Walk the Edge (Woody van Eyden Remix)

They should all be in tears after that (in a good way :D)
