Need help with NZB.

Hi,
Downloaded a 5 gig movie from NZBmatrix using alt.binz.
It finishing downloading after a couple of hours, all looked well etc.
When i tried to unrar it this morning it wouldn't(in alt.binz), kind of just did nothing when I clicked the unrar option, checked the unrar folder, the complete movie isn't there. Then in my frustrated state I accidentally clicked cleanup.
Now my question is(since I'm pretty new to news servers and nzb's etc) is there a way to "make" the movie from all the par2 files I currently have on my pc(compile them)? Is there a way to get the "queue" back in to alt.binz so that I can try again? What should/can I do to fix this?
Any help would really be appreciated!

Nope. If you delete the RAR files, no amount of PAR files will help you. The PAR files just repair the broken RAR files.
 
I haven't deleted anything. The files are all still there in the "incomplete" folder. All I did was remove the file from the queue in alt.binz. No permanent deleting was done.

So run the PAR files with QuickPAR and see what it says. If it can be repaired, QuickPAR will repair it.
 
Ok, I've downloaded quickpar....but how do i use it. What I mean is, the files are in a folder, with par2 and rar files. Now, do i just select everything in the movie "incomplete" folder and click create? Then once its done see what it says?

Nope. Just double-click one of the PAR2 files and let QuickPAR run. Be sure to set the options to "Monitor Automatically" and "Automatically Repair" in "Options".
 
Ok, so I ran it on the 1st one i saw, then it gave me another set , about 6-8 to choose from. Also just chose a random one there, then it went into a window where it just started going through stuff...almost like a virus scan type of thing.. just letting it run, to see what happens.
 
Ok, so its done scanning. No damaged files, non in need of repair. Now I have the potion to "open", "new", "exit" and "extra". So what do I do now?

*edit* also, no missing files.

It will repair what it can. When it's done, it will tell you which RAR files are not there in your folder or RAR files that cannot be repaired. You will probably need to download that NZB again and just put the RAR files you need into Alt.Binz. In fact, if you are on NZBMatrix, you can just select the RAR files you need and create a new NZB for it. Put it in Alt.Binz and let it download. Then you should be able to have all your files.

Quit QuickPAR. It's done what it needed to do :)

Do you have WinRAR or 7Zip installed? If you do, just right-click one of the RAR files and select "Extract here...".
