I please need help setting up the following;
Samsung HT-D5350K home entertainment system
Samsung UA46D6600 TV
HD PVR
XBOX 360

All of the above with HDMI.

Oh sorry, my bad. Plug the cable from the thingy into the port of the other whatshamacallit.

Just bear in mind that you will need an optical cable from the pvr to get surround sound. Doff, I know.

How many hdmi-in's have u got in the home theatre, and how many in's you got on the tv ?

Surround sound over HDMI was introduced on the HDPVR over 2 years ago...

Tell that to the PVR. It does *not* work on the PVR2.

The TV has 4 hdmi-in and one optical out and the home thearte has only 1 hdmi-out and optical in.

Only stereo (2ch PCM), you wont get DD or DTS 5.1 passthrough from HDMI to optical (or HDMI ARC for that matter).

Yes, but if you read above, issue is two HDMI devices, zero HDMI input on HTB, just an optical.
