Hi, i have a corsa B ute bakkie the 2003 model, she bent 4 exhaust valves on 28 December :(

On disk on engine code it says WC00---- , this is not a valid GM Engine code since i heard they created these in brazil and imported them to South Africa

It could be the C14SE or the C14NZ.. need new HEAD parts like valves but need to make sure i have the correct engine code..

Since i need head parts like one rocker arm and exhuast valves , i will send the head images.

notice the different cam cover , not a round cap..

Let me know if u need picks of the block..

ooooh my kinda thing! that will be a C14NV basic corsa/utility cylinder head, should use a rubber valve cover gasket instead of the older type heads with a thick cork one

some call it a 6W engine

if you have a vernier you can measure the head size of the valves and i can confirm for you

Thank you , much appreciated! will be getting parts to fix tomorrow :)

Also would it be best to replace head bolts, and get a new headset like the Victor Rinz brand?

Thanks will check for you and get back, also i edited my above question ,

Don't have vernier unfortunately... Will take the head to machine shop to do the valves since they can be a pain to work with.

bolts is a MUST dude! they are avaliable in Victor reinz yes part number 14-10674-01 that is the big 22mm head bolt, it works perfectly

Namibian engine? ALMOST the same as our 2E here in SA, 3E is actually listed as a 1.5L engine with the same bore as a 2E with a different stroke on the crank

Yes you are correct its only different with stroke , fits nicely into the tazz :)
Not sure where this motor came from , i bought the car thinking it was a 1.3 , but realized i had a 1.5. Rare engine in S.A i believe. It has an incredible top end for a 1.5 carb engine though

You must replace the head bolts yes, as they are yield bolts, you should also follow the correct procedure precisely when torquing them.

anything i need to look out for when reinstalling the lifters , i got it back from the shop with them out of the head?
