Hey y'all...

I need some advice...

I want to setup a website for my small company. Nothing fancy - just a few standard pages - Home, About, Products, Contact Us, maybe also a blog page...

I have done a little bit in PHP, know a bit about HTML (can learn CSS) and am comfortable with some programming so I can do it myself... I'd prefer to get a hosted solution (less control, I know, but less admin on my side)

My question is: Is it worthwhile to get a webhost to register my domain, or should I do it myself?
Are there any good, free (if possible), webhosting solutions available. I've heard hostinger is quite good but I see their sites / templates are more for hobby sites. Is GoDaddy any good?

Thanks Zaid, a quick view on Hellopeter and ELitehost doesn't have a single bad report. I think I will try them :)

Indeed, a very good idea. I just joined them, and am loving everything so far. Going to move all my sites over soon. :)

Make sure you Google for examples of good web design, and try learn jQuery. Check out the web development courses on Udemy too. It's not difficult to make yourself a functional website - just don't made it look godawful. I don't understand why so many people (even many professional web designers) can't make a website look good to save their life.

Since you are comfortable with some programming , php and the like. Why not use a cms and with your experience customise it. Yeah and just google for your host.
