need some info on the omnia...

ok, so my mom dropped her 2g iphone and now its completely stuffed. i've been given the duty of finding the perfect new phone...
...enter omnia!

anyway, i need to know a few things...

1) does the omnia have birthday reminders thats repeated yearly?
2) does it have predictive text/can it be switched between predictive and normal input? (she got annoyed with the iphone "correcting" her inputs when she was typing in afrikaans.)
3) how loud is the ringer? the iphone was too soft for her...
4) how user friendly is it? my mom is quite technologically challenged
5) how good is it with emails and can attachments be viewed?

i think thats all i need to know for now... thanks!
 
1) Yes
2) Yes
3) Knowing samsung its louder than the iphone(older samsungs i had were noisy)
4) Pretty skin over windows mobile (not as friendly as iphone) (better than pure winmobile)
5) Its good and yes

I dont own an omnia but other windows mobile devices(the more things change the more they stay the same)
