Hi all,

I'm looking for this unit for my car.

VW Want R2000 for the unit and I think that's insane!
Maybe a scrap yard or something?
If anyone knows... any help would be awesome!

my Picanto didnt come with the boot cover, so every tsotsi could see my laptop in the boot.

Yeah, if anyone knows a place in Somerset West that might have it, direct me because I don't know this side at all.
But then again, if anyone outside of Cape Town can help me, I'll pay for courier and the item if it's in great condition obviously.

So they called me today and told me they could get me the part for about R500. I said yes, please get it.
Then they called me at 4 and said I must come get it. I get there and they want R1500 for it.
I laughed... I was told R500 and Reagan looked at me as if I was mad in the head.
I told him THATS what he told me on the phone!
Anyways... left without it.
Very upset.

If anyone is near a junk / scrap yard and they can get this unit in great condition, please keep me in mind.

You can give Ferroli a call (they service Audi + VW) and see if they can source it for you? Got me a decent price on the headlamp assembly when I replaced it on my old Jetta. No idea if they'll simply try get it from the places you already tried though :/

If you are in Somerset West I would recommend trying http://www.rosbys.co.za/ they are in Strand (10 minutes from Somerset)
If they don't have one they probably know someone who will, otherwise there are many auto repair places in the Gants Centre
