Bro, cloning a site? Really?
Firstly, if you're going to clone from the source, get the fonts right. Secondly, you are second year at unisa. Clearly you haven't done the module on responsive web layouts yet. They should really have taught you responsive design in first year...
You don't build a portfolio by copying existing designs, also one page does not make a site.
If you really want "practice" pick a non profit and help them in some way with your web skills. Lord knows there are many companies in ZA that could use some flavour.
I ain't hatin, you do you. Just sad to see young talent use time for practically zero growth.
If you really want to break into the web game, and add to your portfolio, pick an api, any api, crypto, cat pictures, weather, forex, food anything and build a site around the data from that api.
That is how you buff up a portfolio!
Use the skills you are learning to make your life easier, and by that I mean, build something that you find interesting, something you care about.
Keep on keeping on! Web ain't easy, but do it well enough, and it will take you anywhere you want to go.
