And the cops don't think that we're frustrated with them not doing their jobs and tackling the crime problem.

Neighbours kill suspect, frustrate cops

A struggle ensued with the woman, and she started screaming for help, sending neighbours rushing over to see what was happening.

They subsequently beat the two men so severely that one died on the scene and the other is under police guard at a local hospital.

Police are now trying to find out who did the beatings, but have hit a wall of silence and are appealing for help from anyone who may have witnessed it.

"When we arrived no one could say, 'this is the one'," said Kgasoane.

She urged people to rather let police take custody of people suspected of crime. - one is dead and the other in hospital - dofff

That is one seriously funny statement right there. Yes Mr robber, please lay off trying to kill me just until the cops arrive so that they can arrest you..thanks for your cooperation:rolleyes:

time has passed when you could talk to a robber.

yes if everyone stays quiet then there is no case to be made, or just say the other guy beat his friend to death and let them sort it out.

Maybe if they stopped investigating who killed criminals and start investigating who killed SA citizens crime might go down.

what we need is a Caped Crusader (ok the other provinces can have one too), one that has his mothers kitchen table cloth around his shoulders and a crochet doilie as a mask fighting crime.

It's quite funny how they link the police station's tel number in there.

I'd be quite suprised if you phone the number and someone actually picked up and used the information :P

hmm, quite suprised at my own reaction also. I'm thinking that the neighbours did good and am not even feeling a bit bad about them beating a man to death.

Strange what this country has done to desenticise us all to brutality.

lol, maybe we could get that cash crusaders dude!! :D
but seriously though, as dangerous as wat happened is; criminals need to know that SA is sick of their ***...although, maybe this might make them even more dangerous!! oh well, not like they dont kill first and rob laters as it is.

I trzed to phone silverton police station about 3 months ago and no one picked up. this was at 8pm on a sunday night!

Its people taking a stand against crime, and there is still no right thing so what must the robbers kill you and you just stand back and not fight for your life, I would have done the same thing fought back even if it means they got killed, I wouldn't for a second not fight of my life

If a robber threatened me and those I love, I'm can't say I would not stop until I am sure he can no longer hurt my loved ones.
