Greetings all,

So I came across Nelsinko.com while looking for a projector... The price on their site was damn good.

I look around the site and realize that majority of their items are super discounted! Suspicious, I google their address and find a different business in their location... I then Google their contact number and find that its also shared with mistuff.co.za

Mistuff.co.za is supposedly "South Africa's #1 Online Electronics Store" however I have never heard of them. I suspect both of these sites to be scams. I cannot confirm this so I would like to ask...

Has anyone here bought from these websites before?

Edit: Adding jallzar.com to the Scam list as well. Its basically a rebranded Nelsinko.com

There's a lot of these types of sites these days. Could be straight up scams, could be white label drop shipping sites that do wish/alibaba imports etc. I've tried a couple and had terrible service but half legitimate/refunded after months, never mind honoring a warranty. Bonus points for a contactable phone number.

I was wondering the same thing. Did you try calling the number? It also mentioned that if you're in major cities they can ship to another store to collect, but when you Google other stores, there is only that one in Bloemfontein. Also, there is no Facebook page and their website was created in 2022. So many red flags!!

It's a clone of another site likely

Also just found one Hellopeter review giving 4 stars. Delivered a fridge but not on time. But scammer could've posted it! It's definitely a new site. I guess only someone in Bloemfontein can go check if it's actually real.

I can confirm that the majority of the items on the Nelsinko website are direct COPY and PASTE from the Expert Stores website as they come with a ExpertStores voucher as well. Imagine buying from KFC and getting a Nandos voucher

Vouchers are just a basic way of doing a shop front only white label thing. Middlemen everywhere not adding much value

There is a mobile number under contact us on the website and Truecaller shows it as "Scammer Website". I tried calling the number, and the "subscriber is not available".

I'm looking for a Defy washing machine and they are almost R4000 cheaper than most other places on the particular one I want. I suppose it's a case of if it's too good to be true, it probably is.

Nelsinko.com is a SCAM guys. Unfortunately this post on the forum was not up when I placed a order with them. So it is too late for me.

The website mentions in that you can collect your order at one of their stores in Kwa-Zulu Natal, Johannesburg or Cape Town. However the only physical address listed for their business is supposedly in Bloemfontein.

Their contact number on the website when called does not exist.

They mention on their website that they accept Visa Card/ Mastercard however when checking out you will find only two methods of payment available. One being to pay them with Bitcoin. The other option is conventional bank EFT. Then they encourage you to make an immediate EFT payment so that you can get your order processed and shipped quicker however an immediate EFT cannot be reversed or stopped by your bank from what I understand.
Also they allow you to upload proof of payment to their website so speed up the process, which is definitely not something that one usually encounters with online stores.

Their website terms and conditions contain formatting and spelling mistakes and under the terms regarding the courier tracking they say that you will receive a tracking number for your parcel which you can track through "mistuff.co.za" . Why not track the parcel through your own website not another separate stores website, a website which (mistuff.co.za which is down with a 403 Forbidden Error message).

Everything on their website is on sale. Not in a "too good to be true way" but it is rather strange that everything is on sale at an unusually good price like Christmas or Black Friday sales.

When I placed a order with them I was directed to make the payment to:
Nelsinko
Bank: African Bank
Acc No:20056633952
Branch 430000

@PsyWulf gave the following bank details for them:
Nelsinko
Bank: African Bank
Acc No: 20067180942
Branch Code 430000

So they appear to change their bank details after every order is placed and payment is confirmed as I submitted proof of payment to them.
As a test of this I tested their website with fake orders using fake information and I was directed to make payment to this bank account:
NS Holdings
Bank: TymeBank
Acc No: 51060852535
Branch Code: 678910

I did two fake orders with them and got the same bank account because I guess payment from the previous order has not gone through yet.

Finally I placed my order with them on Tues October 4th, received confirmation that my order had been placed with them and that I would receive further emails when payment was confirmed and when it was on its way to me. Sent their support and email on Wed October 5th checking if they had received my payment and they responded soon thereafter that it would be shipped on Friday 7th October. That alerted me as they were basically buying time for the payment to clear into their account before disappearing. To confirm this I sent them a email today notifying them I would like to have my order cancelled with them and have heard nothing back from them despite it being hours later.

Don't get scammed as I did.

Now I get spend the next 2 or 3 days running around with the banks and SAPS in a vain attempt of getting my money back and the website taken down.

That would be a good thing!

Would not eat KFC if it was free AND you paid me...

If anyone else has been scammed by nelsinko.com or made purchase from them and has still not received their order yet please report the matter immediately to SAPS, to your bank and to the bank at which the account that you paid the funds into for your order is held at. Open a case of fraud with each party.

Provide the banks with your SAPS case number and provide the banks with the other banks case numbers that you get as well.

Don't just let these guys get away without at least reporting what happened to you. The more people who cooperate the greater the chance that the individuals involved can be caught or at least stopped from doing any further damage.

Looks like the scammers are watching this thread. They have re-branded to jallzar.com and fixed the blatant copy and paste which was mentioned in this post. They now have a Jallzar voucher instead of a expertstores voucher lol

This is their "new" site. www.jallzar.com

Edit: They have switched to Nedbank for payments. (BTC option is still there lol)
