NeoConnect Prime cuttting out (battery)

I've got Neoconnect prime uncapped and my phone calls keep cutting out when it beeps and shows "battery full".
It isn't a case of lack of coverage because I have two, sometimes three bars (and neotel told me my area was covered).

This happens both when connected to vista and xp.

Also, how does one make it silent while changing the settings in the menu?

Is there some sort of firmare upgrade that can do this or is planned for it?

Another thing... is there any way that my computer could automatically dial up to the net instead of me having to open the neotel software to do so?

Lastly, has anyone tried the Billion 7402NX or the Netgear MBR642GU as a wireless router for the neocennect prime (uncapped) [instead of the dovado]?
Basically I just want A dovado with wireless N.

Not sure about the Prime Device but on my Lite Device I was able to make it silent and that was just through the Menu 'Settings', let's see what the Other Prime users have to say.

Yes you can create a Dialup connection and manually set it up I use #777 for the number to dial out with my username([email protected]) and password.

You could also use the rasdial command from a cmd prompt or create a simple batch file that connects to your dial-up network connection using the rasdial command

I use the Billion 7401VGP in my setup and share both cable and wireless with no problems.

I have prime uncapped, I do it almost like that.. I will give that a try tho

I have just made a dial up connection using the same settings, then set the connection to redial automatically. It was for a while that you would be connected but with the line dead, but that seems to have stopped now.

I have uninstalled the neotel software, all you really need are the drivers for the phone.

Re the battery problem..

Have you tried shutting down the phone completely? That seems to sort out most problems for me....

I have my prime, but, when I use it for phone calls, the connection just pauses. I dont know what your doing on your end, but for me I just use the phone, put it down, it beeps for full battery (quite irritating actually) then my connection resumes. Ive never had to dial in again once. Technically, the phone stays dialed in, it just stops the USB and phones, then resumes.

Tried this with both the USB cable in my PC and my Dovado router. Never given me a problem.
