Hi Friends.


I am right now using Noeflex Data 10G.
I am planning to change to NeoConnect Prime Unlimited.

Please let me know... What is the method in which I can connect the Internet to Wireless Systems..

I am planning to take NeoConnect Prime Unlimited ( with telephone) and I would like to buy Wi-Fi Router and connect to the other Systems...

Is it possible...??? If so..Please do let me know ASAP..

yo man, it is probably possible, but to prevent you from getting any gray hairs, rather go for Telkom ADSL

Hi - I have a Neotel Prime device for sale. 1.5 years old, still looks fine. You can save yourself the R80 per month and then don't have to pay the device off should you decide to leave Neotel. Send me a PM if you're interested. R500.

As for your options - yes, you can connect Neotel to a PC and share it with other users. Remember that you won't be able to make calls over Neotel and use the internet at the same time. I have the same problem currently - no ADSL in my complex, 3G is too expensive and I have the added disadvantage of not having any coverage for Neotel, that's why I closed my contract.

ADSL is the best option, but doens't really help if you don't have lines / ports on the exchange. I settled for iBurst while waiting for Telkom to come to the party.

To do the sharing, you'll need a PC that connects to the Neotel device for you. Then you can set up internet connection sharing (in Windows) and share the connection with the LAN. To get DHCP, it is sometimes the easiest to put the LAN port of the PC into the WAN port of the device and then set up the Router to a static IP (that of the PC) and let it share the connection with the rest of the network. The only problem then is that the PC with the Neotel connection won't be able to access the rest of the LAN as the firewall in the router will prevent it.

I've done a similar setup with my Prime device - will be happy to share it.
