Neotel outage

We've had Neotel fibre at our office since 2012 and this is probably the 2nd or 3rd outage we've had with them. All in all, we've been very pleased with the service and the uptime has been exceptional. We understand that these things do happen. The question is, how quickly can they resolve the issue and get everything working smoothly again...
 
Our Neotel redudancy is also experiencing massive packet loss and is up and down (100+ text messages from NodePing already), also international problems. Spoke to Escalations Senior Manager (L4) apparently they having a massive routing problem and Vendor (Cisco) engineers have been called to assist. NO ETA :mad:

Been having problems with Neotel last 10 days. Everything Vodacom touches... :mad:

To be honest in the 2-3 years with neotel fiber we've had almost no issues. Just frustrating when things do fail.

Same here. We never have issues with our Neotel fibre service. Their billing department is a whole other kettle of incompetence though
 
My Neotel Wireless Link is also having issues, for the last 2 or 3 hours with intermittent International connection.

Most SA websites are working 100%. Email Traffic is working so far with Web/POP/IMAP (Gmail).

This is the first Outage in a very long time!
 
Also have 2 customers affected by the outage.
Fibre and LTE Customers are affected.
 
Our Neotel Fibre in Bellville/Durbanville is still all over the place.

Anyone have more info on the issue? Breacher says Cisco TAC has been pulled in, any details?

Config issue or software bug/hardware failure?
 
This escalated rather quickly... first I couldn't access google, but other international sites were working and exchange online was working too. Then up and down up and down... Now all international even exchange online is broken..

Hope they fix this soon.!!
 
We are on their Fibre product in Newlands, Cape Town, and our service was also erratic earlier.
Seems to be working ok now.
 
Yesterday around 4:30-4:45 things got back to normal.

Why they don't put any official notification?

Neotel: Your customer service sucks.
