From what I understand / have been told by reliable sources;

Neotel have a fair usage policy, so what happens is, you download say, 10GB in a day, then your speeds drop for a few days or something like that.

It's not openly discussed, it's a hush hush thing from what I understand.

If that is true , so much for not having shaping equipment. Any chance of getting that in writing gdiza ?

Which sucks because I really want to say.

Well to be honest.
The main reason that I have been taking this whole " we do not have shaping equipment" with a pinch of salt is because the technology is coded into virtually every medium to ultra large piece of routing equipment available today.
Hell , even my software firewall has the capability.

So unless they are using routers designed for home use they have the technology. But then again maybe they are using equipment designed for home use :D
BUT there are a couple of core issues with using QoS. If it is not configured properly it can cause intermittent problem like we have seen and still see today.
