What happened to Neotel's testing phase? Anyone got selected?

From the Neotel website

Neotel plans to introduce a variety of voice and data services (including high-speed-Internet and true broadband access services) for individual consumers and SMMEs in South Africa, with the first of these services targeted for availability around the middle of 2007.

A limited area residential trial for high-speed-internet and voice services in July 2007 will be followed by a full commercial offering in select, but gradually expanding geographies.

But I would have thought that those selected to participate would have been contacted already, seen as the trials start in one month.

I've been waiting years to get the internet at home. I'm using doBroadband but I'm ready to jump wagon, once Neotel is up and running.
I have no doubt in the access speeds,but does anyone know anything about their pricing? Their website offers not much help.

About the testing phase - according their site it will be around the jo'burg & pretoria area, problem is I'm in Durban!

Firstly, Link Park is nothing to be happy about

Why don't you doubt the access speeds, that is what I am doubting.. if they use WiMax, will they actually offer anything faster than 4mb ADSL? I doubt it... I'm also seeing some terrible caps, honestly if they come in with another 3Gig copy

Since Sat3 is still controlled by telkom, they can only bring out a 3gig copy or worse...unless they wanna take a chance and make a loss...

They said therir trial will start the 2nd quarter of 2007 and now its already been moved to July. Will probably be imminent for the next couple of months.
