Neotel's residential trial

Neotel is due to start trialing of thier residential services soon, here is some info I got from them via an e-mail:

...If you are interested in being considered for Neotel's residential trial services and are a resident of either Johannesburg or Pretoria, you can write to Neotel at [email protected] providing your name, full residential address and contact details....

Since they also going to be offering braodband, I figure this is maybe (slightly) relevent to this forum :)

For anyone that's interested in offering them a hand :)
 
Keeps us poor plebs stuck in the Cape up to date please :D Specifically, I want to know what the latency's like, if it's going to be good enough for gaming.

Yes I beg of you...anyone who gets the trial to report back to us. Wonder if they will trial in Honeydew / Roodepoort. I will e-mail anyway

We will also keep you informed of the roll-out of the commercial services even if you are not selected for the trial services.

I see in the quote that it is available in Johannesburg and Pretoria.

What a pity that the council in Tswane decided that Pretoria is the park surrounding Paul Kruger's statue in Church Square..........................
