.Net framework 3.5 (includes. NET 2.0 and 3.0)

Hi!
can someone please help me? I'm no expert on networks and all the goodies..
I have to install a Canon program for photo editing on Windows 8. it keeps asking me for a Feature: .net framework 3.5(includes. NET2.0 and 3.0)
I've followed all the instructions. Downloaded updates and what not... and it still pops up. I've been through 3Gig's broadband now and it just chews up my broadband with no joy at the end. what can I do?

Maybe it want the 32 bit version and not 64 bit or vice versa

Fixed the issue several times. What you need to is insert your Win 8 disk (mounting the .iso if available is best)

Run an elevated CMD (Ctrl-x), enter the following command:

DISM /Online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:NetFx3 /All /LimitAccess /Source:d:\sources\sxs

D being you drive or image mount.
