Getting ym dell netbook today with an 8gb ssd, going to load windows 7 this weekend and see how it goes.

I would like to buy a netbook, however before i do, i would still like to test one out for a day first - and trying to do that is impossible.

Really enjoying my NC10; better than anything IC has to offer. Paid way too much for it though (R6800) - but DionWired stock the same model without embedded 3G for R5000. These things are fast evolving so if you're prepared to wait a few months you'll get a much better deal.

Got an EEE 2G, and i have to say its hard not to love it. worth every cent.
The 800 x 480 screen resolution was not a problem after i installed the hack drivers that lets you use any resolution you want.

I use it for surfing the internet proper non-cellphone style during meetings, presentations, MS Office, Movies, Unreal tournament, and basically everything my laptop does apart from visual studio.

Not bad concidering its cheaper than an ipod.

I have been waiting for my dell mini 9 from vodacom for nearly 2 weeks , hopefully by thursday, i am going to attemp a windows 7 install , should be fine is i disable the page and recycle bin size along with restore . embedded 3g is an absolute necessity as such a nice small netbook with a big bulky 3g usb thing out the side is off-putting.
