On the one hand I'm happy I could potentially cancel my Showmax subscription (use it only for HBO content).

On the other hand, I'm worried Netflix could drag HBO down to their shitty quality level where everything has the same bland algorithm produced look and feel.

Netflix has distro rights to EVAngelion so flying to the moon won't be an option for Canal Ploos.

HBO took a nose dive during Covid already, was much better before. Apple seems to be king of content now.

Broadcast TV, outside of live events, is basically dead. There's simply no good reason to have to watch content on someone else's schedule in 2025.
