Greetings, I have a Hisense tv with Netflix pre-installed. It's also connected to the internet via Wifi

I keep getting error messages of different codes, but the most recent one is in the subject line. I use to just reset my Netflix and log back in and this use to solve the issue, now even this fix doesn't fix it. Reading up on the error, it says either I can't connect to the Netflix servers or something is preventing me from doing it.

My issue is probably the latter since I can use the Youtube on the tv just fine.
I personally blame the tv itself, since it's a piece of crap. Never buying Hisense again.
Is Axxess, my ISP, to blame for this?
Does Netflix hate South Africa?
Option 4?

Are you using a VPN or SmartDNS?

Have you tried Netflix on a different device? Does it do the same thing?
Have you tried using an ethernet cable with your TV?
Do you perhaps have a spare media box (like a Xiaomi Mi Box) to try with your TV?

I have had weird errors and some streaming troubles with my Samsung TV. Weird errors are few and far between, but restarting the app (or sometimes the TV) usually solves it. My other issues are with 4k, which I posted about yonks ago asking for advice but never hit much luck. I have determined that the TV is the issue - as I don't seem to have the same issue with my PS4 (although that can change, as I have tested it before and I had no luck).

I don't use those no, not sure if the tv came with it automatically on, how do I check?

I could try my PC but I don't want to lock the account somehow due to the concurrent connections limit

It's simply because Hisense is **** and it just doesn't work.

I ended up just installing an Android box for my folks because the HiSense app was so unreliable.

I guess I'll try Netflix on my PC and get the android box if there is no issues. Hisense sucks

Those particular cheap Hisense’s without a proper AppStore suck, the rest don’t.

It’s basically running “apps” in a browser wrapper.

Define "cheap". I bought it on special but the original price of R11k is damn expensive IMO. But yea, gonna grab an Android box, I want the mini keyboard anyways, using the remote is tedious.

Yes, unfortunately in the world of TV's that is pretty cheap even at 11k.

This is happening on my samsung UHD tv all of a sudden as well for the last week. Reset it, works, then doesn't work the next day.

Luckily I have a chromecast as well - but the app was just easy.

Yeah my experience as well.

Reset the TV and it works for a day or two and then it dies.
