Netflix price hikes planned

Netflix has outlined plans to increase its prices in the coming years.

Netflix UK already increased their rates last month.

Plus, people already have to subscribe to multiple services to get most of the shows that they want.

I see that Hulu now has premium over the top subscriptions, Showtime being the the first at $8.99, you can get showtime directly but that's more expensive than Hulu bundled it seems.

I suspect we'll start to see this pay per bundle type thing coming on strongly soon...

Netflix has basically everything besides HBO. And I don't watch Game of Thrones. Hell netflix even has a decent anime selection.

I'll can it then. I suspect HBO & Showtime are the few that didn't want to sell content to them and prefer a per user model rather than per view.

I think those networks are just shooting themselves in the foot as the only content I get offline/non-streamed are HBO & showtime

Not at all. Netflix doesn't have shows as the come out. For that you need Hulu+ (For the shows they have) or iTunes. And Netflix's movie selection is very poor

Hulu+, HBO and iTunes (For me. If you want sport, then there is more).

People that want to do that can get a different sort of account

Well if you're impatient then you must pay, or pirate.

I only watch shows once the full season is out anyway, so works for me.
